EVENT TO DIVE INTO
Virtual Meet & Greet in AZ
Dr. Hiral Tipirneni has a strong chance of winning the election to become representative for Arizona’s 6th Congressional District. Force Multiplier is hosting this June 28 event for people to learn more about how and why to support her candidacy.
The blue wave embodies inclusion, compassion, economic justice, and multiculturalism. Dr. Tipirneni, an emergency room doctor and cancer research advocate, exemplifies all of those principles. Her opponent, Republican incumbent David Schweikert, voted with Trump 90% of the time and is being investigated by the House Ethics Committee for possible misuse of official resources to benefit his campaign.
Learn more about Dr. Tipirneni and why this Arizona race is important for us all.
June 28 @ 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Get on the Phone
After face-to-face canvassing, phone banking is the most effective campaign tool – and given realities of social distancing, it’s essential. A simple phone call allows personal connections with voters and conveys invaluable information to campaigns, identifying supporters, recruiting volunteers, and cleaning up contact lists. It can also be fun and very rewarding.
Wary of trying phone banking? You won’t be after watching a short video featuring Rebecca Riccio of Swing Left Greater Boston, an inspiring leader who lays out the ins and outs of this technique.
Phone banking is now underway for North Carolina and Michigan, both crucial to winning the White House and Senate. Please click on these links to learn more – and remember, each shift begins with 30-minute training for first-timers.
LIFT ALL BOATS
Cunningham for Senate
Taking a Senate seat in North Carolina is a coup within our reach. Such a victory is particularly sweet in a state where Republicans count on the lockstep loyalty of the state’s unpopular senator, Thom Tillis.
Democratic contender Cal Cunningham has a long record of effective public service. A North Carolina native, he served in the State Senate, fighting for smaller class sizes and investments in education, and was a leading advocate for landmark clean-air legislation and campaign finance reform. He has been a member of the U.S. Army Reserves since 2002, and is vice president of WasteZero, whose mission is to halve the trash produced in the U.S. Besides giving us a good shot at sending a Trump-hugging Republican packing, Cunningham can help boost the election of Joe Biden.
