TGIF! Call Arizona Voters with Stand Indivisible and Flip the West
October 30, 2020 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 5:00 pm on Friday, repeating until November 2, 2020
Stand Indivisible Together is teaming up with Flip the West for a TGIF Virtual Phone Bank every Friday from 2-4 pm (Pacific) from now until the election to call Arizona voters to help DUMP TRUMP and FLIP THE U.S. SENATE BLUE!
Are you tired of listening every day to a new Trump lie, or brag about his “fantastic” accomplishments as the President of The United States? Does just the thought of him in office make you sick? Can you believe the disaster Covid-19 has become from his total lack of leadership? Ready for another 4 years of TRUMP? Wait…. WHAT?!
If you’re not, the time to do something about it is NOW! Our target – 10,000 calls over 12 weeks – 830 calls/ week. We need 16 fired up volunteers to do 50 calls each, every Friday until the General Election. In other words, we need YOU!
What to expect:
- You will join others at a “Virtual Phone Bank Center” on Zoom where you will either go to a break-out room for Advanced callers and get started making calls right away, or get training in the main session. Real time technical support is available. After making calls, you can rejoin your fellow phone bankers, share success stories, and give us feedback.
- You will have an option to use a “manual” dialer, or an “automatic” (CallHub or Thru Talk ) dialer.** Manual is slightly easier if you are not comfortable with technology. CallHub and Thru Talk is more efficient once you know how to use it.
What you need for manual: A computer or tablet, and a cell phone.
What you need for automatic (CallHub or Thru Talk): A PC or Mac, with the Chrome or Microsoft Edge browser. Your iPad, tablet or cell phone, or other browsers such as Safari or Firefox, are not compatible with our automated dialing system. As you will be making calls from your computer, we suggest using ear buds with a microphone.
You have a choice to call Arizona voters either: with several short survey questions regarding the Trump presidency (calling manually), or, to call Arizona voters to help them sign up for a mail in ballots (on the automatic dialer).
