Learn How to Register Portland High School Students for the Most Important Election of their Lives. We need two dozen Portland—area volunteers for this unique, ground-breaking pilot project: a vote-by-mail effort designed to get hundreds of local high school seniors to vote this year—and hopefully create a lifetime habit of voting.

You will be sending voting forms and directions to every Portland high school senior. This material will allow them to simultaneously register to vote and request an absentee ballot—without leaving their couch.

As soon as you sign up you will receive an email with a link telling you how to pick up your packet (grab ‘n go from our location host’s house in Portland), which includes 20 addressed envelopes, 20 reply envelopes and 40 stamps. (PLEASE GO TO THIS LINK AS SOON AS YOU RECEIVE THE EMAIL.)

The Training Party will teach you how to download and print out a 6-page PDF, double-sided. (It’s not hard, but if you don’t have the ability to print double-sided, you will NOT BE ABLE to do this project.) You will then stuff envelopes with the forms, which provide everything the 20 students need to register and vote by mail.

The cost of each packet is $22. Payment via check or Venmo is accepted; some donated stamps may be available for those who need them.

Additional Precautions Please protect your health and the health of the community. If you have underlying health conditions or other risk factors, please ask a friend to pick up your packets.
