ONLINE – Whistleblower Nation: Get Your Roadmap Here on Sunday
May 17, 2020 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
This nation is forever indebted to our whistleblowers. Last year, a whistleblower exposed the president’s illegal scheme to pressure the government of Ukraine to influence our presidential election. His brave acts led to the impeachment of the president, and disclosure of illegal activity throughout the administration. Today, COVID-19 whistleblower Dr. Rick Bright, who led the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority, will testify before Congress as to what he saw as director of the key Trump vaccine administration agency.
As more patriots come forward to tell the American people what the administration is doing to our democracy and to us, we have a responsibility to pay attention and to respond appropriately. Left of Center is honored to have two of the nation’s leading authorities on whistleblowers join us for A Personal Conversation this Sunday, May 17, 2020 at 4:00 p.m., EDT.
Jon Oberg was a Department of Education researcher who became a whistleblower when, after seeing first-hand how student loan lenders were raking in hundreds of millions of dollars a year in subsidy money, his supervisor told him to direct his focus elsewhere.
Dan Moldea is a legendary investigative journalist and best-selling author who has written about Vincent Foster, the mafia, the assassination of RFK, and who has fought for the First Amendment all the way to the Supreme Court of the United States. His latest book, “Money, Politics, and Corruption in U.S. Higher Education: The Stories of Whistleblowers”, is about to be released.
