ONLINE – New to Politics? Let’s Break it Down #2

May 6, 2020 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Missed the last workshop, but still want to learn about politics? No worries, Let’s go round 2! Read on: How often should we vote? What are the primary elections? Whether you’re new to politics or just want to brush up on your knowledge, we’ll discuss these questions and more and how it works at the local, state, and federal levels. Knowledge is power and it is key to creating change, but we must all do our part.

About the host: Ricardo is a strong community and social justice activist with a demonstrated history of working for change particularly focused in LGBTQ+ and Latinx communities. His background includes Community Organizing and Spanish language translation and interpretation with years of political, electoral, and nonprofit experience. He is currently a Digital Organizing Fellow for the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and is working to increase support, collaboration, and overall voter engagement across the Keystone State.
