ONLINE – Michigan Mondays! Join Us for a Virtual Letter Writing Party/Happy Hour/Check-in

April 27, 2020 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Join us for the first SLGB Michigan group’s virtual letter writing party/happy hour! Grab some quanantea or a quarantini (or your cocktail/mocktail of choice), and join us to write letters to Michigan voters. We’ll also check-in and connect, and see how we’ll all doing. If it is a sunny, we hope to beam in (virtually, of course) from the front porch.

We will be writing letters to potential Michigan voters in a critical election. This award-winning, proven tactic will help us work on crucial races all over the country.

Invite your friends, too and let them know that Swing Left is pioneering an innovative program, using letters to help volunteers like us turn out Super State voters by mail with our letter-writing affiliate, Vote Forward.

Never written letters before?

1) Head over to www.votefwd.org/swingleft and make an account 2) Download and print twenty letters from MIGOTV2020A (https://votefwd.org/district/MIGOTV2020A). Don’t have a printer? Email lisa.swingleft@gmail.com 3) We’ll show you how to write them at our virtual party! We’ll send you directions before the party on how to connect via Zoom (no worries, it’s super easy)

Interested in hosting your own virtual letter writing party? RSVP for Swing Left how-to call 8-9 pm ET/5 pm PT. RSVP https://www.mobilize.us/swingleft/event/264446/

Think about it: if you help get a voter to the polls in one of our targeted Super States, you can impact key State races necessary to roll back gerrymanders. That’s what Swing Left’s Super State Strategy is all about: maximizing the impact of your time and money.

Looking forward to seeing you soon!
