ONLINE – MetroWest 2020 Campaign Volunteer Summit

July 13, 2020 @ 6:45 pm - 8:00 pm

As every news cycle reveals the latest horror from the Trump circus, you may be asking: “How can I help change this? We KNOW Massachusetts will vote for Joe Biden. What can I do beyond recycling the endless fundraising appeals in my inbox?”

There is a lot you can do can make a difference. A handful of states will determine the honor, direction and future of America. We learned in 2016 that every vote counts and we can’t leave any stone unturned.

Join us via zoom on Monday July 13 at 7:00 to hear more about how you can help.  Sign up here for the event

Senator Ed Markey will offer a Washington perspective on why this is the most important election of our lifetimes. Representatives from several key swing states will talk about how those of us in true blue Massachusetts can influence the outcome of some very, very close races.

The goal of the evening is presenting specific and concrete ways you can get involved in the 2020 campaign. Longtime activist and grass roots leader Michael Ansara will present Together for 2020, a Massachusetts collaboration of the many groups and democratic activists here in Massachusetts working together to win back the presidency and turn the US Senate Blue.

Together for 2020 fosters and encourage collective action so all of us are working together to defeat Trump. We’ll offer clear steps on how to join a team campaigning on one of the swing states, and how you can sign up for the 2020 Metro West phone bank or postcard team. Maybe you have time to be a phone bank captain in charge of a night/or postcard leader and help recruit and organize your friends to also volunteer. While we need many volunteers for phone banks, texting and postcards, many groups are looking for volunteers with tech skills, PR skills, or some savvy with social media. If you want to make a difference, there are many opportunities to get involved – and we need your help!
