ONLINE – Greater Andover Indivisible Blue Power Hour — A Weekly Social & Action Hour
September 24, 2020 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
An event every week that begins at 6:30 pm on Thursday, repeating until October 29, 2020
GAI’s weekly social and action hour provides an opportunity to connect through a variety of ways which include discussing issues, screening movies or just engaging in light conversation.
On Thursday, June 4 we will share our thoughts and reactions to the events occurring over the past week and racial injustice.
As always, you can also join us on Thursdays to participate in virtual postcarding too. Don’t let COVID-19 dampen your Democratic spirit. While we manage the challenges of avoiding group events, we will offer postcard packages to-go. Postcard packets are now available on Molly Beams’ front porch, at 26 Cutler Rd., Andover. Feel free to stop by any time. Our packages include postcards, addresses, stamps and instructions. Contributions of $5-10 to help cover costs and postage are welcomed.
And every Thursday night at 6:30 PM join us for our Virtual Social and Action Hour. From any browser window, click or paste this Zoom URL:
Upcoming Postcarding Campaigns
- Postcard packages for RECLAIM OUR VOTE notify disenfranchised voters of color in several southern states that they’ve been removed from the voter rolls and encourage them to re-register.
- Reminders to targeted voters to give Democrats a winning edge in Special Election races in key districts across the U.S.
- Reminders to targeted Florida residents to enroll for Vote By Mail balloting (VBM). Having more Democrats enrolled in FLORIDA’S VOTE BY MAIL “no excuses required” program will lead to more Democratic candidate wins.
- Other impactful voter registration drives as these become available.
Greater Andover Indivisible is taking the recommended precautions regarding the Coronavirus and thus suspending group gatherings, but we still want to provide our members opportunities to remain active. For more info visit (http://indivisibleandoverma.com/) or visit our Facebook page.
