ONLINE – BootCamp2020: Textbanking 101

Welcome to BootCamp2020, Lean Left’s jumping off point for Election 2020!
This election will be like no other, and it’s going to take all of us working hard to make sure voters in key states are able to exercise their right to vote—safely! Voting laws are changing quickly and deadlines for voter registration/vote-by-mail applications will be here before you know it; plus Democratic candidates need to lay the foundation for a final Get-Out-The-Vote push in October by identifying supporters, recruiting volunteers, and raising funds now. The earlier we get started, the more we’ll power that blue wave in November!
Peer-to-peer texting (aka textbanking) is a fun, flexible, innovative way to reach voters (and voters-to-be!) all over the country from the comfort and safety of your couch. Join us for BootCamp2020: Textbanking 101 for an introduction to the what, why and how of texting out the vote! If time and opportunity permits, we’ll do some live texting so you can see it in action, and we’ll allow plenty of time for questions!
