Horace Small, Leader of Black Ballot Power at CI Huddle@Home

August 2, 2020 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Come Join us for a presentation by Horace Small, leader of Black Ballot Power https://blackballotpower.com/

Voter suppression in communities of color is one of the most alarming and central issues threatening our democracy and the November election. Republicans are raising an enormous amount of money to hire 50,000 poll watchers who are going to challenge and intimidate voters under the guise of fighting “voter fraud” which no one can approve exists.

We are in the final days and the fight for a fair and democratic election is proving to be incredibly fierce. How can we be allies to our fellow citizens locally and throughout the country? Please join us on August 2 at 4:00 (3:45 social time) to hear Horace Small (leader of Black Ballot Power and Executive Director of Union of Minority Neighborhoods) one of Massachusetts’ great warriors for racial justice, address these issues and advise us on how we can best support voter registration drives and a successful election day strategy. There will be no action tables at this Huddle event.
